tailor's shop, costumes, hats
After World War II, the Italian motion picture market opened up to international coproductions. It was in this ambit that Giuseppe Peruzzi found himself working as a costume supplier, strong in the experience handed down to him by his three precedessors in the family business – Angelo Pignotti, Ruggero Peruzzi and Egisto Peruzzi.
When Giuseppe died in 1955, he was succeeded by his son Ruggero. The present owner of the company, named Giuseppe after his grandfather, took over the helm in 1995, on the death of this father Ruggero.
From the late forties on, Peruzzi Costumes began to feature prominently in major international productions. The high quality of its materials is testifield by the many Oscar Nominations won by the costume designer supplied by the company.
